IM OBSESSED WITH BEETS! Not only they can help fighting inflammation in your body, they also can improve athletic performance: Many athletes found they can lift higher weights and have a better endurance throughout their workout if they drink beets juice beforehand.⠀

For this recipe, just blend one small cooked & peeled beet with original hummus and use it as a dip along with guacamole for your favorite raw veggies. I used tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers and mixed greens. Also celery, broccoli or mushrooms would go perfect with this as well!⠀

This one has spirulina flavored white rice, roasted carrots, mushrooms, mixed greens, sprouts and a bit balsamic on top. ⠀
What’s the best thing about a bowl? You can use leftovers, put them all together, add some fresh veggies and greens and you’re ready to go within 10 min. Perfect for busy days, where you still eat healthy and balanced (well that part depends on the leftovers of course🙏).⠀

It is very hard sometimes to strongly believe in something and trying to convince another person, especially when it’s someone from your own family.⠀

If you are vegan, than you probably know this situation pretty well. You sit at dinner with your family, and one of your loved ones, looks at you and says: „Soooo, you’re doing this thing now. Vegan, huh? You young people have all of these crazy ideas. We have always been eating meat, that’s natural, so why change it now? That is crazy!“ ⠀
THAT sentence alone has been enough for me to get deeply triggered. And then I most likely snap back in rage that leads to a stupid fight that no-one can possibly win, saying things like:“ what’s crazy to me is to kill innocent animals! And not even for the sake of ones survival but only for the habit of your taste pleasure.“ In the end, I am frustrated, the other person is frustrated and it was good for nothing! And most likely I proofed this person right: I am crazy. Vegans are crazy! ⠀

So now, when I meet someone who does not share my believes, I can still stand up for mine by just meeting other people’s views with compassion and empathy rather than to attack the others opinions and lifestyle. To understand that not everyone knows what you know, have not seen and read what you have and does not feel the way you do. And that is ok. They are not worse than me, and I am not better than them. * 20 green cardamom⠀
* 1 tsp. pink peppercorns (or black peppercorns)⠀
* 1 tsp. coriander seeds⠀
* 20 anise star seeds⠀
* 2 whole cloves⠀
* 2 tsp. cinnamon powder⠀
* 1 tsp. ginger powder⠀
* your choice of unflavored tea (black tea, green tea, oolong tea, white tea, herbal tea)⠀
* paper tea bags⠀

Instructions⠀

1. In a mortar, combine all ingredients for the chai mixture and grind well.⠀
2. Combine 1 teaspoon of chai mix with 1 teaspoon of your favorite tea. Add into one tea bag.⠀
3. Add tea bag into a cup. Add approx. 250 g of hot water. The exact brewing temperature of the water and steeping time has to be adjusted for the type of tea that you use:⠀ * Black tea – 205°F-210°F, 3-5 minutes⠀ * Darjeeling – 205°F-210°F, 2 minutes⠀ * Green tea – 160°F-175°F, 2 minutes⠀ * White tea – 175°F-190°F, up to 2 minutes⠀ * Roiboos/Herbal – 205°F , 3-8 minutes⠀

• 120 g (½ cup) Canned chickpeas⠀
• 170 g (6 oz.) high protein tofu, crumbled⠀
• 3 mushrooms, thinly sliced⠀
• 5 grape tomatoes, • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced⠀
• 2 handful baby kale⠀
• ½ spring of green onion, chopped⠀
• ½ avocado, in slices⠀
• 1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds⠀
• 1/2 tbsp. sesame seeds⠀
• 1 tbsp. sauerkraut (optional) 🌱⠀
1. DRESSING: In a bowl combine all ingredients for the dressing and set aside.⠀
2. Add remaining ingredients into a big bowl and pour over dressing. Combine well and enjoy.⠀

1. Using a potato peeler, slice zucchini in tagliatelle looking slices and transfer into a big bowl.⠀
2. Repeat with carrot and add with spinach into bowl.⠀
3. Halve avocado, remove seed and slice thinly, set aside.⠀
4. Add olive oil and lemon juice to the bowl and combine well.⠀
5. Season with pepper and salt and serve with a heat of pesto and avocado.⠀
